I have a little daughter
She's seven in her years
And sometimes when I look at her
It brings my heart to tears
She reminds me of my mother
With all her love and grace
Her tender heart her loving touch
And the features of her face
My mother passed away in 1993
But looking at my daughter
Brings her memories
Back to me
She has a way about her
That my mother also had
That makes you want to laugh
Even when you're really mad
My daughter is a blessing
For me that's plain to see
But her likeness to my mother
Is a bonus gift for me
